This games takes concepts from Metroidvanias and builds it around 1 mechanic, once you know all its tricks you can beat the game!
Genuinely fantastic, GOTY contender.

A beautiful combination of Video Game, Documentary and Surrealist Art.
The use of the interactive medium to tell real stories is something that doesn't happen often enough.

It's free and only about 20 minutes long, so no excuse not to check it out.

Risk of Rain 2 -

first played this a couple years ago and it didn't grab me.
Started again earlier this year and OH BOY, I am absolutely hooked.
Can make you feel like a god or a chump, but the uniqueness of each character, and item possibilities makes it so addictive! not even touched the DLC!

Shogun Showdown -

Simple at first, turn based combat deck builder.
Fluid moves make you feel like a genius when you execute a good combo.

great little game!

The King is Watching -

Absolute STONKER of town building Rogue lite.
The complexity can be a little overwhelming at first but once it gets going its so much fun.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth -

The first of the Rogue Likes I've been jumping between, none of which I am finished with yet.

This game hasn't gripped me like it did for others, but I will give it more time as i certainly haven't even scratched the surface.

completely forgotten how to format this thread, and also forgot to add a tonne of games coz i've been on a bit of a Rogue like kick, but I'll make this the definitive point forward.

Also about to spam a few games I've been playing but might not have "finished" because of their structure.
