So many content creators talk about their fish’s passing as a causal thing before moving onto something more fun an engaging. A lot of people talk about fish as a decoration and not a living thing.

I wasn’t prepared for how much this would hurt and break the hearts of my wife and me.

Mourning the loss of our heroic little Betta fish, York. After five months, some bad advice from professionals led to his passing.

We loved him. Still do. He helped healed some of our struggles and we provided him great joy.

He was named for the American explorer, because he was always curious.

Compiling a list of movies that don’t feel like Folk Horror but do, in fact, fulfill the definition completely.

The new, brief Dead or Alive teaser trailer looks really good. The emphasis is on showing Kasumi’s outfit being sexy without being silly or gratuitous…

And if you know the development drama of that franchise, this image alone is a major statement for the direction of the series.

The whittling and defanging of these terms feels less like a deliberate attempt to disempower victims and more of a subconscious desire to center ourselves. To create a narrative of good and bad, where we are the good ones. That’s the narrative we want, and we’ll strip away tools until they fit it.

White people, almost by definition, can’t really engage with the topic or “A Karen” the way it was intended to be used, but..:. But if they also use it, that means that they recognize who the villains are… which makes them… a hero!

The vast majority of people have never experienced gaslighting… but how dramatic and poetic would it be if we did? What if that person didn’t just withhold details from me… what if he Gaslit me?

Because then he’s the villain of the story and I’m the hero!

Words mean thing. And there’s something truly sinister about the impulse to transform them into something relatable and usable. It’s such a powerful word, WE want it.

It’s kind of the same way that Gaslighting emerged as an important phrase that conveys a specific, deliberate, systematic abuse….

But then rapidly became “A lie that upsets me, personally”.

The phrase “Karen” used to be an observation of how white women are largely aware of their privilege and have historically responded it to promote white supremacy and weaponize it to harm, oppress, and even kill others.

And then white people whittled it down to “Bitches are annoyingly loud, right?”

Your hair and lips! My goodness.

Is Gonzo the only Muppet who’s truly great at his job?

Like, for most Muppets, the joke is that the mess up a lot. For Miss Piggy, she is, I believe, “above average but will karate chop you if you don’t calm her perfect”.

But Gonzo sets out to do a thing and usually nails it. Is it only him?
