The sooner companies such as these are brought back into public ownership, the better 😑

What a surprise! I'd hope that more of her ilk would leave the Tories for reform and let the Majors, Hesiltines, Clarke's etc reclaim the party they were a part of in the 1990s. We need more reasoned and sensible people not only in government but also opposition.

I love the school run shout-outs on Classic FM, absolute mayhem. Happy birthday to Jacinta, 9, who's going on a trip up Everest after her cor anglais exam, and Mungo, 7, who will be invested as Archbishop of York after his PhD viva on the origins of Mandarin.

But how many of those Twitter users are bots? I still have my twitter account and it's likely I'll just leave it dormant rather than deactivate. At least I won't be rewarding the blue ticks for clicks though 😁

Well done Alicia Kearns, it's refreshing to hear and see a politician not trying to point score, but endeavouring to work and represent those who have been badly treated.

I may disagree with Dominic Grieve on a host of issues, but I have the utmost respect for him being a principled and decent human being. We need more people to come together from different ends of the political spectrum to ensure our return to the EU is made a priority for the UK.

"...regardless of whether it's best for the country or what the public wants." WTAF? So, he's against the best interests of the country and those who live and work in it? Absolute 🀑.

On the issue of taxation (which actually I think is a necessity in a civilised society to ensure public services are providing a decent level of provision), how about changing the name to a "social tariff". I can see those MAGA loving Brits really getting behind this!

What's to say he won't change the rules so he can run for a third term? There doesn't seem to be much that can stop him at the moment - only ill health and his death.

Well, like many others I've made the exodus to Blue sky and away from the cesspit Twitter has become. Such a shame for a once great social media platform.

Listening to Mark Clattenburg's contributions during the football, I'm reminded about his previous career... 🀣
