Just spent ages trying to figure out what song the riff "man in the middle" was from. It's been stuck in my head all day. The internet said Abba or Bee Gees. It was neither...

... It was Michael Jackson. Because it's not "man in the middle", it's "man in the mirror". I was just singing it wrong.🤦‍♂️

I also figured out how to make it talk. I did not figure out how to make it. Stop talking, but I was fairly proud of both of these achievements.

Some weeks ago jacksepticeye had a game jam and I wanted to try to participate. I knew I hadn't learned enough Godot to use that but I thought maybe I knew enough Markdown to use Twine...

... I absolutely didn't, but by the end I was able to make an ASCII skull appear. Which I think is pretty cool.

Watched World War Z for the first time the other day (my 13-year-old is on a scary movie kick) and while I knew the "twist" in advance and still think it's objectively pretty stupid, having seen it presented in the movie? WAY better in context. And while not as good as the book, I liked it a lot.
