Honestly, this is the level Shyamalan should have been at from the beginning so that he could surprise us with occasional brilliance instead of continuously disappointing us with baffling shit like the Avatar movie.

That is very true. Also, cartoonishly over-the-top villainy can be hilarious and fun, even outside of genres where such villains are common. Some people just suck, and then they make how much they suck other people's problem. Makes it all the more satisfying when somebody slugs them in the eye.

As much as I enjoy the gameplay in boomer shooters, I have to accept that I am terrible at the exploration aspect. Between Cultic, Coven and now, Wizordum, I am REALLY bad at finding secret areas.

I think Wizordum will be next. I've been excited about it for a while (ever since this intense boomer shooter fever took hold. Maybe this is my midlife crisis. Honestly, that would be a relief. You could do a lot worse).

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

Just beat Coven. Loved every second of it. I'm excited about the second episode and what we'll be able to do with the abilities from the first (if they carry over). Absolutely adored the final battle and the finale. Very satisfying.
