Well hopefully said inheritor invests their β€˜hard earned’ inheritance just before the market crashes.

Surely, just because it’s a β€˜small’ amount of people, doesn’t make taxing unrealised gains a shit policy.

Will it be by an election?
Or is he just going to force himself upon the world again like he does with women.

It was interesting listening to leading cattle industry people today. They basically shrugged off the tariff. The US has no substitute to our beef because of our beefs lower fat content. The yanks will just be paying $600mio more for their burgers.
Trumps a genius indeed.

And I think he will be a shoo-in for this election now. Such a calm, purposeful speaker, rallying the Canadian’s for the fight ahead.
I dearly hope he wins, and I know it will be lost on Trump, but he will win because of Trump.

Yes. Let’s get our young to put all their super into probably the most expensive asset class there is and push the price up even further!
It would be hard to think of a more destructive policy ever created by any previous Australian government.

The LNP aren’t seriously trying to win the Tea seats back. This policy directed specifically to those living in the outer suburbs, who typically use cars more, and where the fuel guzzling Ute is the dream vehicle.

Hi Dave, your next car should be an EV. Then get yourself on a night time EV electricity plan, such as AGL’s, which lets you charge at 8c per kWh from midnight to 6am.
At 16kWh’s per 100km, that 1000km weekly driving will cost you $12.80 per week.
I’de imagine that’s quite a bit cheaper.

Basically a means for men with small peckers to proclaim that they also have money.

The mere suggestion by Macron that France will consider providing an umbrella drew an angry response from Lavrov and Putin. Trump has more than likely handed Russia a victory over Ukraine. Who’s next on Putin’s list before Europe has a chance to rearm?

09.03.2025 02:46 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Your conclusion that Europe can no longer rely on the support of the US is correct.
But that also means Europe can no longer rely on the US’s nuclear deterrent.
The UK and FRA have around 500 nukes, vs Russias 5,000. A new nuclear arms race has likely begun, hardly making the world safer place.

Giant batteries are coming to Australia, bringing 24/7 renewables a β€˜step closer’ A major green energy investor will bring some of the world’s most powerful batteries, which could run for twice as long as today’s biggest systems, to Australia.

Now eight hour batteries are rolling out. Next will be twelve at undoubtably cheaper prices. Meanwhile Dutton wants us to believe that nukes in 20 years time are the answer.

Because he’s the leader of the LNP, who are fundamentally opposed to government ownership of productive assets.
Unless of course it concerns $300bio worth of nuclear reactors.
