Either an alpha brush in zbrush (maybe blender too) or in blender I'd probably just use boolean modifier and suffer (nondestructive = good tho)

I'm pretty amateur at both programs though so there's probably a better way.

Unfortunately it also lent colour to the current state of the UK. I was reading SU while the news broke about Ciara Watkin. It's impossible not to read about the case and see the parrallels to what Serano was talking about in Sexed Up.

Sexed Up too has coloured the way I look at the world since finishing it (which is always the way I judge a book). In a positive way I felt the book really helped illustrate intersectionality to me, the marked vs unmarked mindset being why we should all be on the same team here.

Serano is also a good narrator and I found her really easy to listen to. Whipping Girl was a really important text to me early on in my transition where it helped me put together things I'd been thinking but never fit together before.

Last week I finished Sexed Up by @juliaserano.bsky.social serano.bsky.social and thought it was really good! Sexed Up feels like a great follow up to Whipping Girl in the way that it really centres society as the subject (from a trans/fem/bi view) rather than feeling like transness was the subject

if you're looking for alternative metrics, waist to heigh ratio is a better indicator of general health afaik, and body fat % can be estimated with a tapemeasure via the navy method

I used to dabble quite a bit in 3d sculpting for tabletop - this guy's the first full model Ive been happy with in a while. He's a #necromunda slopper (food guy) and I'll be giving him out to our friends at the necromunda event my bf and I are running this weekend
