The real bummer is I have to rewrite part of Friend of the Damned. Mostly the beginning, because it's a bit out of sync with the rest of the story, but also to fit in with the plot changes.

I'll provide the new version for free to anyone who's bought the current version, of course.

Okay I'm extremely biased but. If you want to read Cthulhu Mythos fiction that isn't written by Lovecraft himself, you need to read The Ballad of Black Tom by Victor LaVelle. It's a loose retelling of one of Lovecraft's most racist Mythos works from the POV of a black man.
