He'd run his thumb over the thin skin and bones last night – Elliot had; his palm resting over the back of her left hand, her stomach had swooped as her mouth had gone dry and she had stared at the place where they'd been touching. He touches her easily, now, and she wants more.

This exactly this is the reason why I think this is a perfect career opportunity for her character.
