How does one become PPI-eligible? Eligibility is based on the preseason rankings. Eligible prospects have to appear on at least two of the three Top 100 Prospect rankings released by MLB Pipeline, Baseball America and ESPN. Those players must be rookie-eligible and have fewer than 60 days of prior MLB service.

What are the odds that Dylan Beavers ends up on 2 Top 100 lists by the start of next season? 5%? 1%? His own development isn't tied to the awful display of baseball by the current crop of O's outfielders, but give the guy a chance already. It's hard to ask for more than what he's done at AAA

Going to major league games is already an expensive endeavor, especially for families. With the Keys returning to affiliated baseball, there are more minor league games in my family's future than O's games

The team said that there is still a way for ticket holders to cobble together a plan similar to the one with 13 Sunday games. To do that, a fan would need to purchase a 20-game plan of Sunday games and then sell back six games to the team in exchange for monetary credit for the 2027 season. Six is the maximum number of games a fan can sell back under the new 2026 rules.

The result would be 14 Sunday games, plus the perks of a 20-game plan including 25% savings on concessions and merchandise and guaranteed opening day access. Such an approach would be more expensive — perhaps significantly so — than the current 13-game Sunday option. The cost difference would depend on the seat locations and other factors.
