I feel like the time and energy it took me to get to this appt was a waste because I did barely any talking. I have my internist appt in a couple weeks. I’ll let you know how that goes.

I had my psych appt last wk. It was a weird experience. I filled out a form with the same quest from my SS app. They went thru these questions to verify; not elaborate. They typed more than I talked. I was given 3 words to remember and asked what “Don’t judge of Book by its cover” means.

Yes, they typically deny your first request and I’m assuming it’s based on what you say in your interview. I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and apply. The worst that can happen is a no, and then you just reapply! The people I have spoken with at SS have been very caring and helpful.

I’m going through the process now 🤞. So far it hasn’t been too bad but I do expect to be denied the 1st x around 🥴. I’ve been reading up on how to approach the interview & everything says not to give even a hint that you feel ok. This will be hard because it feels like complaining.
