When I left Twitter 18 months ago I had severe withdrawal from trending topics and not knowing every single little thing happening in the news. But then I discovered that I still hear about everything I need to know, and that NOT hearing about stuff that does not matter is so so liberating.

i did all my work today despite wanting to procrastinate forever and cry about it the entire time. i did my work and it was fine. need to remember this pleasant feeling for when i have to do my work again (tomorrow)

today I woke up at 5:30AM, cleaned up some of my work inbox (even though I’m off), walked my dog twice, went to the market, plucked my eyebrows, journaled, made lunch, and now I will (in no particular order) shower, clean, go to the gym, read, and wash/put away clothes
