One constant in my life as an autistic human is being the only one saying the truth and no one believing you. Being a natural investigative sort of human and making certain you for sure know something is shady…and no one believing you. I’m so tired of not being taken seriously.

Instead of ‘And they lived happily ever after’, German fairy tales end with ‘And if they haven’t died, then they are still living today’.

Autism, while listed in the DSM as a disorder, is better explained as a neurotype comprised of a constellation of traits that diverge from what is currently considered typical. The defining traits are not disordered by nature but pose challenges when attempting to meet expectations of peers.

Autism is about spending decades being easily manipulated as you try to figure out the rules of neurotypical socialization and then becoming immune to all social expectations or pressures at 30.

Can anyone explain why people who scream that electric car batteries go to landfills (they don't) go absolutely silent about the tonnes of "disposable" vapes and single-use chargers which actually DO go to landfills each day? Why the silence about this actual problem? Make it make sense, please.

If you know for a fact that you did absolutely nothing to someone and they pull away from you, it was divine intervention. Don't even question it. Rejection is protection and redirection.
