Thinking about how cool it would be if @bioware.bsky.social made an anthology for Mass Effect in the style of the Star Wars From a Certain Point of View books where each story is from the POV of a minor character. I’d be willing to contribute *wink wink nudge nudge*.

I love Andor but I wish people would stop using it as an excuse to dunk on other Star Wars films/series. It’s okay to not like all of it and to critique, but not all Star Wars should be like Andor.

Several authors I follow are cancelling visits to the US, and I cannot blame them at all.

If you’re getting mad at/unfollowing said authors, I’m going to assume you voted for the reason they’re cancelling.

They don’t get to have statues for that.

People want to immortalize Confederate soldiers because they were part of American history. They should only be remembered in history books as people who tried and failed to create their own country because they were so afraid Mr. Lincoln was going to take their slaves away.

At the end of the day, every argument that attempts to defend the Confederacy/perpetuate the Lost Cause myth is null because they wanted slavery. No monuments or honors should exist for the people who fought to perserve that institution.
