I don't quite have the same angle but we have seen massive changes in this area. It used to be 5m+ brush wattle, fennel and nasturtium.

Now it's a mix of tōtara, kānuka, ngaiō, toetoe, tī kōuka, makomako, koromiko and a bunch of other things.
