I feel honored to work with the spectacular editors @floodedpinepress.bsky.social, who were the best at supporting my vision for this project. They summarized these stories perfectly as parables that approach climate fiction “from the side.”

My chapbook features three speculative stories that imagine different futures in the New England Anthropocene. There are ghosts of forgotten Massachusetts authors, eternal blizzards, and a mysterious prophet (that turns out to be Bob Dylan recordings).

so strange getting a tiered rejection from one flash fiction publisher and then a form rejection from another saying my piece ‘isn’t flash fiction’.
