The people who caused me the most harm in my life did so always in private.

In public they put on a veneer of cordiality and niceness

Even the ones who physically harmed me, would offer me help while in public settings

If they voted for Trump they chose to ignore, or revel in the hatred

But oh do so many people just look at the public cordiality and suddenly white wash those people as nice decent people

Even the ones bringing violence to their partners and children

The guy who in private would send me messages calling me an abomination would in public pretend to be my friend, and then go right back into the hate the moment the public's eye wasn't on them
