Exotic accidental introductions like this Gevlamde skeletteermot, or if you prefer fig-tree skeletonizer moth are definitely on the increase here in North Holland. Happy to say not new in my garden 😁

What a stonker. Bedstraw Hawk-moth, Walstropijlstaart, Hyles gallii.
Some new for garden bits and bobs last night. Quite a few micros i was feeling good about it, then this morning I receive a photo of a Bedstraw Hawkmoth that was just chilling in a garden not crazy far from here, instantly giving me a pang of fomo.
