How can people be so stupid to believe *anything* an LLM spits out without manually double checking everything?

This isn't a bug, there's no way to "fix" this. This is all that LLMs are - next word predictors, and they don't care about facts vs fiction, just probability.

I'm still writing code the hard way. I'm slow. I like to think critically about every line of code and fiddle with variable names until everything looks right. I treat code as a liability and try to ship only what's necessary.

Oh interesting. 🤔 My house’s wiring is pretty cursed so there’s only one sockets breaker, but having two or three is common in the UK. High power fixed appliances like ovens, electric showers, and the like get their own circuits. The mains connection is 100A, so a theoretical peak of ~23kW.

US circuits are 15A? Like, the whole circuit of multiple sockets? 😮

In the UK every socket is 230V 13A, about 3kW, and socket circuits are usually 32A or more.
