Anvil of Dawn (1995) is one of those games that make me mourn all the talent & know-how we lost in the shift from pixel art to 3D.

Dreamforge Intertainment was a powerhouse. We have so many retro-inspired games now, I really hope someday we get a dungeon-crawler in this style again.

Last year I made this 100 PC RPG iceberg, still think it's a good resource if you're want recomendations.

The tiers are not popularity or quality, it's about how accessible each game is. For example, Kenshi is relatively famous but I would only recommend it to true sickos.

I just rediscovered StackOBot. It's really great project to learn from. Very easy to get into with very good learning material. Highly recommend checking it out. It has a lot of hidden gems like reactive foliage or generic interaction system and dynamic room generator.

An example of three different print methods running in the Godot editor, each printing a sequence of "1, 2, bacon, false" but with differently formatted output.

🎓 Here's a small beginner Godot tip:

When debugging by printing values to the output you should probably use `prints` instead of `print`! It's practically the same but it adds an empty space between multiple values.

There is also `printt` which adds tabulation instead, but I find it less useful.
