Read a post once of someone who started with Sunlit Man because they didn’t know any better and it’s basically Stormlight 5.5. They really enjoyed it even though they knew there was a lot going on that other books give context to. Sanderson is great at that.

That’s what I did. If you’ve always been happy to read fantasy tomes I highly recommend it. I’ve had multiple friends bounce off of it a bunch but now they’re raving about it going into book 3
