Unpopular opinion but I think it’s more of a respect your audience thing. I swear and don’t really mind if others around me do as well. But it makes my wife very uncomfortable so out of respect for her I limit it and respectfully ask others to as well.

I guess I’m out of touch but this β€œdull” person doesn’t comment or care about anything in NYC. I guess I didn’t realize so many non-residents did.

Ask her over for dinner?

Btw, I’m not arguing your point. I agree with you.

Personally I don’t think they are analogous. Institutions like Harvard and many other universities have provided great wealth and social safety back to the U.S. via scientific research. A tax exemption makes sense for them. What does a mega church provide back to the U.S. financially?

Or maybe it’s realism? We shall see. Or we won’t.

My wife took my name 44 years ago because it was what you did. I thought it was a dumb patriarchal practice even then. I have strongly advised young women in my life to hold strong to their identities. I wish I had been wiser, she was rightfully proud of her family name she shouldn’t have taken mine

Unfortunately in regards to the Democratic Party the perception is the reality.

Thank you for your leadership identifying the incredible risks that are now being foisted upon the American people, most of whom have no idea of the consequences. I worked for you as an FAA manger and you were the most effective DOT secretary I served under in my 38 years.

Cowards die many times. I will only die but once.

Shakespeare paraphrase that is still true today.

While I fundamentally agree with your perspective I don’t think enough republicans are going to acknowledge the destructive policies they supported in time to avoid a lot of death worldwide. We all are going to go through some things.

Terrible tragedy that took place in D.C. tonight. My condolences to all the families affected. I would caution all the aviation β€œexperts” to avoid jumping to conclusions about the cause. These events are very complex and require deep investigation. Unfortunately I have some experience in this arena.

Heh, all you Vikings, Jets, Bears, Chargers, Browns etc fans depressed about not making the Superbowl I truly get it. And I hope you have great seasons next year. But try being a Lions fan of 63 years and never even have your team make it to the game once. At least your teams have been there.

Ma’am, thank you for your concern but I read just fine. In fact I’ve been reading your Garland writings for years but to me you consistently demonstrate a willingness to excuse his lack of action and I find that alarming. You are intelligent, and articulate but on this topic you have blinders.

Still a Garland apologist I see.
