clearly they made FPS so great that everyone found themselves unworthy of it and decided to play something else

yeah it's pretty bleak sadly... Pimax is doing surprisingly well in terms of making affordable(ish) high end HMDs but their QA still leaves a lot to be desired.. they do have a very nice return policy though so there's at least that.

but yeah. it's really bleak hardware wise on the PCVR side :/

haven't been able to escape entirely sadly, but little victories and all. But hey! H3 runs quite well on Linux via Monado! Even participated in this year's First 2 Wurst on this setup 😄

yeah it's not getting better any time soon sadly, my breaking point was around February and since then i've been trying to distance myself from tech corps as much as possible. dropped Windows for Linux (it's going alright but VR is a little rough), dropped Unity&Unreal for Godot, so on so forth.
