Absolutely loved it, was my game of the year in 2019.

Then I saw some dipshit, took a dump all over it and when I went back to play the DLC alli could think about was his bad takes.

I have a film coming out on amazon in 2 months and have been told i need to start "Tiktoking" and talking about it and that, just isnt me.

The whole "find your audience" advice doesn't account for bad algorithms that draw attention away from our creativity.

I very much feel this.

Every explanation is an arrow from the #quiver.

You keep firing, adjusting aim, trying different angles. None of them land.

Not because your aim's off. But because they've built a wall and called it a personality.

Your arrowheads: logic, reason, reality. Fail... yet you keep firing.

99% of takes on cyberpunk fail to understand it wasnt a retrofuture genre. It was a speculative version of a possible future.

2077 very much feels like not only an homage to the genre but also like a speculative work of fiction as opposed to retrofuture.

The ABC - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star one had me legitimately laughing.

His attention began to #wane around "synergistic solutions" and flatlined at "paradigm shift." The VP kept talking: "circle back, touch base, leverage core competencies." The words meant nothing, the sentences meant less. His eyelids were concrete. Twenty minutes left. He might not make it.

Worked perfectly. Zero matches became a thousand. There was one flaw. Turns out algorithmic charm doesn't transfer beyond text. The dates were disasters... until he implanted the chip into his skull.

It wasn't as bad as some people claim.

The action sequences were always top-notch, and Discovery featured some excellent actors.

Couldn't get past the swearing and dialogue at times.

It all feels very "current day" rather than more timeless like TNG, DS9 and Voyager did.

And that's including Voyager having The Rock hit his wrestling moves in an epsiode.

"So you worked with the victim?"

"Jessica, yeah."

"Tell me about her."

"Didn't know her well. Barely spoke. But she seemed cool, independent. Nose ring, rose tattoo."

The detective wrote something down. Didn't look up.

He'd let that one #slip. The tattoo wasn't visible to just anyone.
