16.10.2025 23:15 — 👍 7 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0which parts of this tech stack are free to use and which require a license for commercial use? We use vitest and vite and oxc already. Are future updates to these tools going to feature a different license soon? is vite+ some sort of "glue" that configures all of these otherwise-free tools together?

are these the same basement dwelling millennials who routinely buy up all of the McDonalds happy meals whenever there is a Pokémon promotion just to discard the food and keep the toys? these guys are ruining things for the actual kids they were meant for
this is how I learned I wasn't yet following Kat on bluesky... an oversight I am rectifying now

15.09.2025 21:08 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0my entire bluesky feed is some fever dream of conspiracy wishcasting, stating definitively that the shooter was some terminally online disciple of Nick Fuentes... figured there must have been some big revelation that I missed, but nope. Everyone is clinging to pet theories and treating them as fact.
13.09.2025 06:06 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0and is there evidence of any of that from the shooter? apart from him being a stupid meme for halloween like six years ago?
13.09.2025 05:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Mild take:
The vilification of "virtue signalling" was a political project designed to make even the most subtle reminders of what decency is uncouth and it fucking worked.
Looks like the physical edition isn't listed on the etsy storefront anymore. Is it sold out? Any chance there will be another print run?

26.08.2025 05:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Hey dudes, I just watched Analog Frontiers (part 1) with my 6-year-old earlier today and I had forgotten how good it was! Are you still planning to produce those last two parts?

16.08.2025 22:01 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The OG Xbox Ninja Gaiden is an all-timer on par with the best of the Devil May Cry series... not sure I can say the same for any of the sequels, but I'll give them that one
16.08.2025 21:12 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The rollout of the Afghanistan withdrawal was a complete mess and I _do_ blame Biden for that. Yes Trump threw a time-bomb into the ordeal by setting up the timeline, cutting out the Afghan govt from the talks, and generally being an idiot, but Biden did not have to follow Trump's plan to the letter
14.08.2025 19:48 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yeah, generally speaking, writing a wrapper on top of another project which is in a pre-alpha state is just signing up for some headaches when unstable APIs you rely on change without notice. It's not that it cannot be done, it's just a lot more work to keep up with the upstream changes.
08.08.2025 20:54 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I understand the eagerness to get a performant type checker plugged into oxlint, but tsgo is not even stable yet, is it? seems premature to build tsgolint before typescript 7 is even in alpha

05.08.2025 16:43 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This would be the thing that could tip me over the edge into finally migrating away from ESLint. Is there a thread on GitHub/Discord/Slack or someplace I can follow along with the progress of this?

03.08.2025 22:01 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I keep waiting for them to develop a good way to define custom rules so the community can port over all of the eslint plugins that are holding them back from adopting these tools... Right now my employer has to weigh 50x faster linting with only 50-75% of our current rules vs just keeping what works
03.08.2025 15:45 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0What did you imagine would replace them? Something like Biome or Oxlint?
03.08.2025 15:38 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Not just cherry picked, it's outright lies. They triumphantly say "finally a president that isn't afraid to say Merry Christmas" and ignore the video montage of Obama saying it dozens of times in public addresses. 99% of Fox viewers have never had their language policed but they imagine it is common
