People in ICE concentration camps are forced to kneel to eat food off plates “like dogs”, held on unsanitary buses in parking lots for more than 24 hours, crammed for weeks in freezing intake rooms where they sleep on the floor, and denied adequate medical care.

This is a human rights crisis.

Notable that this man, who we were all assured isn’t an abuser of women like his Mama originally said, got specifically angry at a female journalist. She’s a Fox reporter, you’d have thought he’d be ok with her, but look at his reaction to anything less than the full throated approval of a woman.

I so hope & pray that somehow, stupid #MECFS recedes enough that you can again. Especially nowadays, when (with the exception of the issue above) the Fringe is SO good for accessibility. Seriously. A dedicated team, profiles that mean support needs are saved year to year & so much help available.

Sitting with the window open enjoying the breeze, but even with the breeze it’s too humid. Seriously. 85% humidity and more or less room temperature all day, it just feels kind if gross. Don’t mind rain, don’t mind a thunderstorm, but I so loathe mugginess!

Quickly, quietly, approach & overwhelm so this git doesn’t have a chance to draw his weapon and start letting bullets fly when there’s crowds of civilians everywhere. Also, hope feds take note that these officers weren’t on duty with face-coverings, bc that’s hostile - unless medically necessary.

So glad your illness is finally being recognised. It’s such a fight to get a word, a term, but it’s so vital for getting access to services and support. Hope now this fight is behind you, things get a little easier.

So one of the things I’m never sure off when I see someone blind and on their own, trying to negotiate a bathroom or a road crossing (with uneven surfaces, potholes etc.) is whether to offer help? Lots of blind/near-blind people cope amazingly and I don’t want to be patronising 🤷‍♀️

If you have #ChronicIllness or #Disability you often can’t wager the energy, pain & other symptoms involved in going out, on a mere chance. Many of these acts/venues think they’re leading the revolution in equal access, but tbh, they’ve actually made their show(s) 💯 inaccessible. (2/2)
