It was so lovely being in Sydney with my fellow Australians and it’s never enough time. Now I’m on a plane to Tokyo, listening to the Witcher 3 soundtrack, reading a Witcher book I got at the airport and letting the flight map do it’s thing. It’s nice to be away from home in the states for a bit.

I've never actually met someone who believes in the rapture. I didn't think people really believed in it. Guess that's from not growing up here? I will feel a bit bad for them when nothing happens tomorrow - I can't imagine believing in something that much and it not coming true.

In between leaving Japan and moving to America I backpacked around the world for four months. I had a big backpack of my stuff (and my green card paperwork) and that’s all I had when I arrived here. Anyhow I’m about to pack for a two week work trip and I can’t figure out what to pack. 😶

The last two nights were right up there with the best NIN shows I’ve been to. I think my first ever was in 1995 at the Alternative Nation festival in Melbourne. Yes, I’m old as dirt - or just heavily influenced by the crow soundtrack as a HS senior.

Well I survived move in day at college for my kid. Both of us were delaying me leaving, but I eventually had to be the one to say ok I’d better go, we both had a big cry, and I left.
