08.08.2025 21:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve done that puzzle! It was fun imagining being there and a difficult task.
23.06.2025 20:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβve done that in waiting rooms. π
17.06.2025 01:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These are wonderful! My husband wants to know if his dog could be incorporated into a couple of these. (They are codependent.) Thank you for sharingβI needed to see them. And of course am glad Bridget made it safely home from her time travels.

14.03.2025 17:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OklahomaβAmerican Indians, (mainly the 5 tribes), early settlement in Ok, land recs, early marriages, Germans from Russia in OK, African Americans in Okβitβs a fascinating place!
27.01.2025 04:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Agreed. I used to see them out in the Tx panhandle where I grew up but they arenβt so prolific in OKC. π Have you painted one yet?
26.01.2025 20:23 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I researched a family that had a βDoratha.β My first time to encounter that nameβit became βDorothyβ toward the end of her life.
26.01.2025 20:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How cool to have a neighborhood road runner.
26.01.2025 20:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Truth! I have a PhD in communication. I KNOW thatβs how information worksβso why was this so surprising to me when I started doing genealogical research?!!
26.01.2025 19:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had some delicious pizzia from Prairie Gypsies for dinner and it was enough. Deeelicious! (Any doc has sadly banned me from alcohol)
25.01.2025 00:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One of my best research trips ever was to Iowa. Researching a country doctor who originated in NYC and ended up in Indianola. Have a great time!!
05.01.2025 22:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My great uncle who spent time in a prison camp was not indexed either. I requested anyway. Hereβs hoping. For both of us. π
05.01.2025 22:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I always tell people it doesnβt have to be my family for a find to thrill me. Congrats!
27.12.2024 07:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Childrenβs librarians are heroes!!
27.12.2024 07:19 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Murphys were my relatives. :-(
26.12.2024 20:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Isnβt it wonderful? Already ordered some for my uncles.
25.12.2024 18:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A woman asked for one for Christmas. She matched a woman I was helping find a birth father for. The womanβs brother was the father. Neither was pleased.
09.12.2024 22:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My bidet is still working, thankfully.
07.12.2024 02:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes. What Josh said. π
03.12.2024 18:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have 2 of these those casesβa 2x grandmother who marries in 1847 and proceeds to bear 10 children. But who were her parents? And a 4x ggrandfather who appears on a 1754 militia roll, lives a full life, leaves a will naming his 8 children, but who were his parents? And so it goes. #genealogy
30.11.2024 18:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Here. π
26.11.2024 00:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Retired but here. And sometimes canβt help answering questions not directed at me.
25.11.2024 00:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Even if the kidsβ names are marked βprivate,β it tells you how many to look for.
19.11.2024 19:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nice to meet you. Ball and Charlton are my names. And they went in to Iowa about 1835.
17.11.2024 03:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I just don't know. I was amazed when I saw the Ohio River--maybe some of the sons in law had something to do with the canals, etc. that were being built along the way. Their name was Ball but no connections to the Ball State or Ball jar folks that I've found. And so it goes.
16.11.2024 17:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maybe they had as yet undiscovered family out there? Their father who died in 1818 was a shipwright--the daughter went to Delaware County, Ohio and married very well.
