Even if we can move away from the perceived or otherwise arrogance, the simple quality of awful decision making has in my view now reached the point where it isnβt sustainable to continue the way things are

β¦ it will allow him to maintain what is left of his legacy and has just enough credit that the fans will be reasonably patient to allow him to sell the club on terms that are fair and not to a Chansiri esque cowboy

And sadly I think now it almost certainly has to consist of.
β
Hallett publicly stating he wants to seek a buyer, as opposed to an investor. Too much has gone wrong to rebuild his relationship with the fans, in my view.
By making this change of intentions clear, I thinkβ¦

Any route map out of this has to consist of the following.
β
Change of head coach with a prioritisation of experience over potential.
β
New serious high level sporting director hired to work above or instead of Fox and lead recruitment campaign.

I donβt actually know what to make of it at this point.
Theyβve done what I thought was impossible and just made me numb rather than angry.
Find it very sad how weβve totally undone 4+ years of good work in the space of less than 2 years. #pafc

Yes because today it was aimed at the players every bit as much as the manager

Without a doubt the most toxic away end Iβve been in - we are completely and utterly screwed. What an unimaginable mess we are in. #pafc

The spell from minutes 65-80 say to me.
If there is any hope of a TC redemption ark and I donβt think there is. We play Law McCabe every game, all game.
Itβs ridiculous how much better we are when heβs on the field and mad our manager canβt see it.

Think that probably has to be that for TC, sadly. Nice guy. Works hard. Not a head coach.
This squad isnβt great but itβs far better than the rubbish we are churning out. It isnβt getting remotely better.

The closest thing we have to Randell as flawed but technical who would try risky pass forwards is McCabe.
TC in his wisdom decided he didnβt need to be in the squad.

Slept on it and whilst Iβm not officially Cleverley out (he gets at least Tuesday)Iβm now very much at the stage where Iβm 90% convinced it ends badly.
You donβt come back from setting up as terribly as that for a derby. #pafc

I think we all just assumed he did a good job cause theyβre a shitshow but Iβm questioning that now. Not like theyβre doing badly this season.

I actually wonder if all of us have fallen into the βgood job in difficult circumstancesβ trap with TC.
Itβs tough to judge how he did at Watford.
Thereβs not actually much evidence at all that heβs any good.

The post match comments also worry me hugely. They suggest a βback to basicsβ approach thatβs ultra defensive.
I mean, fine, we need to improve defensively but weβve also created very little offensively in the last two games.
Going too defensive tonight is what invited Exeter onto us.
23.10.2025 23:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
The issue is weβve tried 4-3-3, 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 and all of them have been woefully found out.
I donβt know what conclusion is left other the that the head coach isnβt very good at coaching.

Fair play by the way, theyβve managed to surpass my very fucking low expectations.
After Burton, I had convinced myself that I was being hysterical and we werenβt in a relegation battle after all.
I should have stuck to my guns. We very much are.

As for Argyle now? I am now pretty confident we arenβt going down because the improvement was substantial and zero aspect of fluke to that win (unlike some others in truth).
We still (imo) wonβt trouble the play offs but I accept I may have gone early with my panic stations
28.09.2025 10:27 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
I think the people being fed up of going was more of a response to two and a bit years of unprecedentedly bad away form that at the time looked set to continue. And also a wider feeling of disconnectedness from the club that wasnβt there at the bottom of league two days (as bad as they were)
28.09.2025 10:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1
Alright probably fair I should take some flack given my earlier meltdowns. What Iβd say is, maybe I did over react a bit emotionally but also Iβll change my views as the facts change. The late window business of McCabe, Ross and Tolaj has clearly raised the level of this squad. Theyβre all quality

I will and itβs possible Iβll backtrack a little but I still donβt think Iβll be happy with the state of things one bit

Is trying good enough? I didnβt sing Hallett out but can understand frustrations. The last few years have been a total shambles and the last few months an even bigger shambles. The fact weβve got into this position is symptomatic of appalling mismanagement

19.08.2025 22:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0
Fans fighting in the stands.
Widespread visceral reaction against our most successful chairmen of recent times.
This is no longer a few angry online fans. This is a fanbase at the end of its tether and no longer accepting this shambles.
19.08.2025 22:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
To be blunt, Iβve essentially already accepted it.
It is of course avoidable if the board take the right steps NOW (should have been after Saturday) and treat this as a state of emergency.
Sadly, I donβt predict that will be the response. So, League Two beckons.

The worst thing is Iβm not actually even (predominantly) angry anymore.
I am but Iβm more sad. 6 years of work gone totally up in smoke due to total mismanagement.
Relegation isnβt just a possibility. Itβs a near total certainty. #pafc
