getting into my joint writing project has been hard to get into. I have no idea why this is. my first story was easy to jump into, the second was a bit harder. the current one is the hardest to get into, I don't know if it's the modern-day setting, not knowing the characters as well. advice welcome

one of my planned projects will be inspired by or a retelling of Melinoe, the loss of her powers is the thing that will be hunting her throughout her journey and her story. along with the looming threat of the underworld being closed off to the mortal realm.

the fear of criticism from anyone on my future books, as I have worked very hard on my current project. as far as how to face said fears, mostly not think about it much. when the moment comes, I intend to run headfirst into it as this has worked with my fears in the past.

Tera here, my first three books are a romantasy. I am planning on writing the rough draft of a book my husband Andrew Cain and I will be doing as a joint project. :D

I have written at least 2,331 words today on the second book in my three-book series. I am on the second to last chapter until I am done with this rough draft :D

the worst ending to my current fantasy romance would be if I turned it into a tragedy on the end. with either one of the main characters dead, or the two of them on the run as the country is taken over as the country is taken over and the opposing country commits atrocities.

in the beginning of my story the reader will find the situation to be as it is, bad. to the main characters who is currently living threw the abuse this is her normal. It's in part the reason she decides to take the man up on his marriage offer, what else does she have to lose

In my current work's I do deal with themes of familiar abuse and neglect from one of the main characters Pov. the long reaching effects of that abuse does carry over into her relationship with the other main character.

I started writing my first novel on April 22, 2024. I have just finished the first rough draft of the first book I have ever written. it has taken me 2 months and eleven days to fish step one, including the time I paused to work on other projects and vend at Portcon Maine wish me luck with the edits

My friends and I got to see the Northen Lights in Maine on May 11, 2024 I was a lot of fun, forgot to post sooner :D enjoy the pictures

Ember is doing much better now, she has stopped wanting to sit still. She wants to run around like crazy with her sister, and soon she will be able to do just that :D
