I know we're all desperate for friends here but going so far as to say the NRA and other 2A groups "stood up for trans rights" is a bit of a stretch to me ... it's just an extension of their Second Amendment absolutism. I haven't seen a single statement actually mention trans people.

The panic about trans people will end one day. Society will accept that we're people like anybody else, and we aren't going anywhere. It'll be tempting to forget that this is how these people talked about us when they were emboldened and we were afraid.
