Just out of curiosity. Are you using an RGB signal with csync? I wonder if it would work better with composite? Maybe there's an ever so slightly different timing to different sync signals, and it throws off the aim? Random guess though.

Was the NES a popular target for UK devs because they were already used to programming for the 6502? How did you handle NTSC development? Did you need a special TV to test with?

I've been a very happy Firefox user for several years. Definitely recommend giving that one a try first.

I just played this over the weekend as well and absolutely loved it. It wasn't hard to see all the clues well in advance, but that's typical for the first case of AA games, so it's hard to fault it. I can't wait for more cases. Don't forget to do the easter egg case!

Is it the trick of rendering a mirror by just rendering a duplicate room in reverse for you to look into from behind an invisible wall? Looks great!

This reminds me. What are some of the better kid friendly games out there? My kids (5 and 3) play lots of games, but it's mostly Pikmin 4 and Mario Odyssey because Nintendo did a great job making them accessible to all ages without being condescending. Assist Mode i. Odyssey is amazing for them.
