Yes. He’s on the side of not releasing the files and shielding pedophiles from accountability. He said what he meant to say when he said stop attacking pedophiles. So, the statement was not a slip or a gaffe.

What “slip”? It is entirely possible he meant it. He has not retracted or corrected it.

What “gaffe”? He has not retracted or corrected it, has he? He has not asked for the release of the Epstein files. All signs point to “He said what he said.”

He has issued no correction that I have seen. What is the “gaffe”? What are you assuming he intended to say? Just because it’s outrageous and horrible doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t exactly what he meant to say.
