I hear you and it’s a horrible situation. It’s just hard, generally, to have sympathy for parents who opt out of public schools. As a parent of 2 PPS kids, we navigate differences constantly and, I would argue, more meaningfully b/c no one is turned away.

Since 2019, enrollment has declined by 19% but management FTE has increased 29%

Last year, 43% of new hires at PCC were managers, administrators, or confidential employees.

Cutting programs = fewer students/less revenue.

I don't think the average American understands how many folks pay for nursing home care through Medicaid. It's not just poor people. This is oversimplifying but, the way our system is set up is that you sell everything you own to pay for it, then you apply for medicaid to pay for the rest.
