🧪Holy shit. The Covid.gov website directs to the WH website claiming that covid came from a lab leak. And they are blaming Anthony Fauci. And calling the NIH a failure. I am utterly speechless. Anti-science propaganda running its wheels in real time.

Just to the left of centre a man in wellies, dark trousers and a dark blue check shirt is holding a scythe. All around him is light brown cut reed. In the background a row of tall uncut reed is silhouetted against a blue sky, and beyond that to the right of the photo is a small tree.

We've just finished scything the reed in "car park fen" (so named given its proximity to a hospital car park). This area is still being restored, and will likely need cutting twice more this year. Looking forward to seeing which seeds we spread last year germinate!
