Snark is all the arrogant government stooges have. Nothing else.

Legal age of consent and marriage is 18 in his favourite 75% Muslim country with sharia law. Kissing not allowed in public. His girlfriend there doesn’t integrate with the majority population but prefers an English speaking ghetto. Hypocritical?

UAE has no democratically elected institutions, no free speech and an appalling human rights record.

Its economy functions on completely different metrics to the ours & ranks well below us for GDP

No serious person would ever think that we should emulate it.

But here's Tice calling us decadent

Johnson: "He has defunded our education system. He has defunded our transportation system. He's firing black women across this country. He's defunding our healthcare system. This president is absolutely out of control... Chicago is going to stand firm in protecting humanity."

Nobel literature prize winning Kazuo Ishiguro who studied at University of Kent. He and his family clearly part of Britain. Very British. Proud of them. Not proud of nasty racists like Jenrick.

That'll be the Kazuo Ishiguro whose father was invited to bring his young family to the UK from Japan, to help prevent coastal flooding after the 1953 storm, and whose innovative analogue computer has pride of place in the Science Museum.

Let me guess. Is Poland still in the EU?

Absolutely so. Universities face stiff competition and only run courses generally which are in demand. Nobody is forced to do an Arts degree. Removing the free market choice is despicable government meddling and control.

UK plastic waste exports to developing countries rose 84% in a year, data shows Campaigners say increase in exports mostly to Malaysia and Indonesia is β€˜unethical and irresponsible waste imperialism’

Another benefit of Brexit ... the UK has returned to its traditional role as the dirty man of Europe.

Absolute waste of time studying it. I mean, Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens, Kipling, Bunyan, Wordsworth, Ishiguro… It’s as if they don’t actually understand or value our actual British culture and heritage.

Universities face tough market forces already. Government meddling is not welcome and is very odd from a β€œsmall state free market capitalism oriented β€œ party. Very Trump.

Tories, like Trump not actually wanting a free market. They want control. Freedom for themselves. Not us.

Incidentally English graduates are in demand by tech companies who need to translate what they do into understandable language for their business customers in particular.

But why let facts get in the way of a stupid soundbite?

It’s a if the flag wavers don’t actually care about our culture at all in reality. Do they swill foreign lager? FagRage swills wine in reality despite posing with beer but doesn’t promote English wines (they’d need to pay him…)

You mean Tice’s favourite Muslim country where kissing in public isn’t allowed, you can’t marry until 18 (and no sex if not), which has sharia law and where his girlfriend doesn’t integrate with the Muslim (75%) majority but lives in an immigrant ghetto speaking English (a foreign language )?

Not necessarily the dataset unfortunately. It’s the biased algorithm. Sadly it predates LLMs. That’s why the algorithms are designed like that.

So to summarise, this is a white politician blaming a black journalist for the racism he is now actively helping to promote, after receiving the full endorsement of his own party leader
