Why is he LIKE this? Truly, the most tiring person in the world to interact with.

My Uncle Dramallama is in town. He is exhausting. We are all exhausted. I have never met anyone so committed to being the worst he can be.

In fairness, I've spent a lot of time drawing cats this week, so that part of it isn't a surprise, but every other element of the dream was just my brain doing something WILD in my sleep.

Last night I dreamt that I had inherited a Ouija board haunted by the spirit of an orange cat whose sole purpose in life was to knock things on the floor.

I defy a dream analyst to come up with a hidden meaning for THAT.

I am sure it's not! I honestly don't think cats are all that persuadable. It would surely be the first ever example of a cat doing what its person wanted if you could get them to behave exactly as you prefer.

I was watching one of those real lives of house cats type shows and it suggested the most common multi-cat household outcome was cats who basically lived in a state of armed neutrality, just barely tolerating each other, rather than cuddly friends.

I look like my mum to the point where photos of us at the same age look like the same person in different clothes.

TBH with you, a good old "sort by kudos" works great in this fandom. The only thing is to definitely skip the ones about the other books, because most of them are very spoilery.

(Also, Goblin Emperor is one of the books I want do illustrations for, someday. I have a whole project list for it!)

I think I've read everything in the AO3 tag for them but nothing really stands out in my memory. My favourite pieces of fanfic for GE are gen, Maia/Csethiro or Maia/Csevet.

It's Aldi's pre-Christmas wooden toy sale and apparently this means encoutntering two fathers having a literal physical confrontation in the aisle of the supermarket over who gets a toy.
