@zebrapig.bsky.social Hey, did you ever get the form about a reference? I think maybe the requester has forgotten about the whole thing again.

Neither green nor particularly leafy. UK. She/her.

15.02.2026 17:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I really enjoyed it -- there's also a video on his YT channel where she explains what her interpolated song means, which is something like "we all belong to the earth", which is such a great interjection into radiohead's lyrics.
15.02.2026 14:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I loved this!
15.02.2026 14:27 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Right? Like, Ilya FURIOUS he can't get Rudy to react to anything, Rudy actually almost having a facial expression about it.
14.02.2026 22:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I will definitely do that with you soon!
14.02.2026 22:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0LOLOL, no, I didn't know that, but of course he did.
That is exactly my problem right now -- I am trying to decide where the most comic snark potential is for Ilya & Rudy. Tbh though my biggest problem is that the tone of the show is sexy angst and as we all know, I don't do either of those. π€
YIKES! thank goodness you didn't plug in and walk away!

14.02.2026 19:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hello! :D Just gotta find my way into the story somewhere....
14.02.2026 19:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I loved it too! What a random but awesome crossover! :D
(On the other hand, you have no idea how much I am holding back from writing a crossover with my favourite Canadian fandom, I Want to Go Home. Truly, the story that nobody wants (except me, I want it.))
Always good to know what to avoid, at a minimum, though grits in particular don't really come up as an issue here in the UK!
13.02.2026 18:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well, if it's dairy, it's on the "can't eat" list, I guess. :|
13.02.2026 18:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 014. In fairness, 3 of them I can't eat (cottage cheese, blue cheese, grapefruit), and 1 of them I don't actually know what is in it (grits. I've never tried it). But yeah, still a lot. But also: more if I added "I'll eat it to be polite but not by choice" items. π€·π»ββοΈ I know I am picky though.
13.02.2026 18:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'll give it another go sometime! You know me though, I'm crawling under the sofa to try to shed the mortification at the slightest provocation. π
11.02.2026 16:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I watched half an episode of S1 and was unable to keep watching because of the level of second hand embarrassment. I am told though that you can skip s1 and it is better from S2 onwards but have not tried it myself. My ability to cope with cringing at the screen is very very low, though.
11.02.2026 13:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Oh, I am going to make those for sure. π
10.02.2026 21:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My sunday baking this weekend was a four berry clafoutis, and it turned out horrendously badly. 2/10, would not clafoutis again

You've got Elon's money. What's the first thing you buy that makes you happy?
Dump a pile of money into research of my rare medical condition, and medication grants for other people living with it. Then just pile money into UK food security charities (both acute beed and policy).
Alas, it was not a great recipe, even if it looked very pleasing. 6/10 max.

01.02.2026 12:43 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't doubt there's been a change in how people are *talking* about it, but it's a change, in my opinion, more likely wrought by this weird panoptical society we've created, than by the amount of estrangement between family members in the world.
01.02.2026 09:17 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have no idea what caused those breaks (though I can guess, based on family lore) but I am going to guess that it was just a lot easier when you could just not write or provide an address, and didn't have to block on facebook, instagram, your mobile etc etc etc.
01.02.2026 09:09 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In my completely ordinary working class family history (maternal and paternal) there are a couple of examples in my grandparents generation alone -- one guy who went overseas and sent one postcard home and then nothing until he was 80, and one who walked away at 18 and never saw his parents again.
01.02.2026 09:04 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The British press is obsessed with the Beckham kid going no contact, and I have to say I think the whole idea of this as a trend is overblown. People have ALWAYS left behind families when things didn't work out -- it was just before modern communication you just moved away and vanished.
01.02.2026 09:01 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I would say my struggle of the last ~18 months or so is determine how much news is βenough newsβ. Where is the line between being an informed citizen and drowning.
29.01.2026 10:27 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Have you seen the other game from the same developers, It Takes Two? I watched the same married couple gamers play through that game as well and although I don't think it's as fun as Split Fiction, it has a lot of similar many-games-in-one elements.
