There’s a sort of Dunning-Kruger effect happening where people who read widely, consider various perspectives, and put in effort to understand views they disagree with worry that they don’t do that enough, while people who don’t do any of that accuse others of being in a bubble and call it a day.

centrists will tell you to your face that we all need to abandon identity issues, and focus on kitchen table issues instead and yet when a leftist candidate runs a generational campaign based on kitchen table issues, it's the centrists weaponizing identity politics to smear the leftist.

This has got to be the dumbest hit piece yet. My dad has a nephew six months younger than he is, and I always called him my uncle rather than my cousin because he was a generation older than me. People are ridiculous.

I'm really glad to see all the folks stepping up to try to resource the loss of SNAP but also billionaires could just pay taxes.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Your friendly former utility commissioner here to say that not only does the PSC have to accept the settlement, it also has the discretion to re-write it and further reduce the rate increase. The utility can appeal, but appeals are hard to win in this area.
