What Democrats Shutdown Strategy Should Be How to avoid a strategy with 0 possibility of success.

My new video lays out a strategy for Democrats on government funding that can a) win policy concessions, b) place some limits on Trump, and c) avoid an unwinnable fight that only helps Trump and Republicans. I also touch on the horrific shooting of Charlie Kirk/political violence at the top.

And also, even if you buy that students are consumers, drop the class. You get the syllabus on day 1. Don't like what's in it? Drop the class. I definitely dropped classes in college because the syllabus wasn't what I expected from the description. That happens.

Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

Goes without saying that if you're praising the person who shot Charlie Kirk there is something seriously fucking wrong with you. Political violence is never okay. I fiercely disagree w/everything Kirk believes. But you beat bad ideas with ideas, never violence.
