Another attempt at using motion blur filters to depict movement, especially in a fight. Purpure is doing a reverse roundhouse kick, a particularly difficult martial arts move to begin with. I personally can only do similar moves in the showroom and not an actual fight or duel.

Captain Speedy wasn't impressed when she found out that Lucretia's artist's impression of the suspect looked nothing like the captain she was interviewing at that very moment. Almost everything was off aside from their bare bones appearances. Not to mention that Purpure was being uncooperative by giving roundabout answers. Pai Ti Kong is a culturally significant day in Hokkien societies. While there are many variations on the ninth day salvation story, all of them agree that this event happened just before midnight after the Hokkien people were turned out of their homes for the first eight days of the New Year. Thus, sugarcanes are major centrepieces for home altars of the day, and another late night ensues for good luck. The male figure in this image is gesturing to the viewer to come closer and seek deliverance.

Traditionally, much like the Gregorian New Year's Eve, people stay up late during the Lunar New Year's Eve. In addition, the first day is when no house chores (especially sweeping) are performed where possible. Thus, it's a time to devote to hobbies and idle pursuits after family gatherings. While red clothing is usually worn, my feng shui prediction strongly suggested not wearing red clothes but red jewelry with other colours of clothes for 2025's Year of the Snake. The pose is loosely inspired by Guanyin at ease. This particular pose isn't usually used by the more feminine depictions of the aforementioned deity; but as part of the New Weibermacht art movement, I chose to depict the figure in this pose.
