You kinda just play the 6-10 spellshapers that are half decent, like bog witch, undertaker, jaya. I still play cost reducers and sac outlets, just omit mana generating creatures to avoid combo. wincons look more like what you'd expect to see in a traditional discard themed deck.

One of my favorite commanders ever! I've built maybe like 10 different themed garna decks over the years, including garna spellslinger of all things...

There's some pretty fun shells you can make if you omit just the ritual creatures focusing more on loot/wheel/mill/discard to make card advantage. I like spellshapers with her, because u can flash her in, give them haste, discard a bunch of creatures, then sac her to get them all back.

But then again why even play Sun Titan when you can just play Redemption Choir : )

Honestly yeah, it sucks, but what used to get printed on 6 mana do nothing durdle commanders is now just as commonly on 3 and 4 cost commanders instead, without even considering what's going into the 99. Sun Titan has actually gotten into *more* of my decks bc so much heat is at 3 and under LMAO

I can't help view this post as a gotcha or a pop quiz, but the simplest answer is just cut the ones that you like the least. My cuts would be: Glory (hard to get in yard, plenty of mana sinks, often times you want your dudes taking damage) and Sunfall (maybe running og wrath so dolls survive it)

you can build counterless tayam or ninjaless yuriko, of course, but my take is more like "given the average brew of a particular commander, how easy is it to do absolutely busted stuff with them." Vivi is a good example, too; no matter how cute you get w/ theme he will still make you like 9999 mana.

Tymna is the strongest commander, but you can build a b2 or b3 tymna deck without it being overpowering because her effect is only as good as the cards you draw.
I think commanders like Tayam, Derevi, Yuriko, Najeela are much harder to do fair things with even if you build them with bad cards.

When exploring new engines, make small sample projects first before committing a months or years long dev cycle to an unfamiliar tool. Also, games are just hard enough to make on their own -- for solo devs, it's often best to stick with the most accessible option.

Roblox is nightmarish and dystopian, but I genuinely think the Minecraft modders have it better than the custom map / garrys mod crowd ever did, or at least did have it really good for a long time. Now the modding scene is a little more sanitized.
