The most unsafe I've felt in DC has been in the face of law enforcement, and that was not just a feeling, I legitimately was unsafe! They attacked people! But some privileged assholes seeing the human consequences of our society's failings feel fucking "unsafe" as if they are the victims. Okay.

I remember when I was about ten and an article in 3 2 1 Contact said self-driving cars were five to ten years away and I was like "aw man, just when I'd be able to drive myself." Anyway I'm forty one now and I still have to drive my own car.

There are over THIRTY law enforcement agencies in DC already! It's unbelievable! Also fuck all of them including/especially MPD who I have seen do a lot of fucked up shit. Fuck all of this, DC deserves better.

One time I ended up in Union Station during the March for Life and it was swarming with MAGA teens. Very "I'm in danger" moment for me.

Not the worst part of this but Rahm Emanuel's implication that supporting trans rights is in any way a mainstream Democratic position is maddening. Democrats do not support trans people! This is not a thing! Stop acting like we get this deference when we are constantly hung out to dry by Democrats.

This is funny and awful but I am also just so tired. I'm tired of being a target and I'm tired of explaining things and I'm tired of being blamed for seeking attention I don't want. It's draining seeing so much stuff directed against you; I'm not God's strongest soldier and I want to be left alone.

Maybe only helpful if you live in Silver Spring (I do) but it's the only way I can remember.

I don't know if this is helpful but each direction has one stop that's two words and starts with S (Silver Spring/Shady Grove) and one that's one word and starts with G (Glenmont/Grosvenor) so for most of the line if I'm going towards Silver Spring I know the train will end at Glenmont.

I wait to use the bathroom as much as possible but I also drink less water so I'm slightly dehydrated a lot of the time. Not great for me but better than getting attacked!

I am so tired of explaining to cis people -- family members, who love and support me! -- that JK Rowling really is that bad. They don't want to believe me and it's so disheartening.
