the 170 million figure is the advertising value it made, not the marketing budget. Nobody knows how much studios spend on marketing because they don't reveal it.

Critic score/review is not indicative of quality, and much less is what the movie generates in revenue. Otherwise, those shitty low-budget horror movies that make back its budget 6 times over would be the pinnacle of cinema. If you want to see it, go ahead! This is not something to worry about
