The hat has a little bow or gather to the hat band at the front, and has a circular rim around the whole of the hat that looks to be about 1.5 inches (eyeball estimate) in breadth. The hat bowl is of wide segmented construction and is topped with a little fabric covered button at the top. It is magnificent.

I know next to nothing about baseball that I didn't learn from Field of Dreams and A League of Their Own (and that other film, the one with Susan Sarandon, er, Bull Durham), but this hat from here (www.19cbaseball.com/image-baseba...) is majestic.

9-5 is too long. 9-4 with an hour lunch & no loss of pay over current full time hours would be better for productivity, work/life balance & for people who need to drop off & collect children from school. Finishing work at 5pm when you started at 9am is too late in the day to have much of a life.

Transphobia is simple bigotry: apply the arguments on the threat that transgender people supposedly pose as pronounced by the TERF to any other minority, and the demented, baseless hatred of transphobia is exposed for what it is. Society takes its collective trauma out on its minorities.

As I thought at the time, it seemed a poorly thought-out law designed primarily to bash us trans people (as if cis people aren't terrifying enough already) - but as ever, it'll spill over onto other people's shoes.

The laws of slippery slopes and unintended consequences tends to push me to think that these controls over the lives of people who aren’t cis-heterosexual men are perhaps if not intended, then likely given the fullness of time.

I also considered it’s nobody’s business if one is trans, but setting that aside, where’s the consent anxiety come from? Is it fertility; would infertile people have to get partners to sign a waiver? Is it sexuality? A woman beds a man then realises she’s not straight, does he have her arrested?

When this law was announced I asked myself what sort of legal contract would one need and how many sworn witnesses, and would the proceedings need to be in front of a registrar prior to coitus, before one could be *sure* the cis person wouldn’t just lie about knowing after the fact?

I was under the impression that softer armour for female bodies runs smaller sizes and has more waist cinching, but that hard armour (like plate armour or power armour) is the same no matter who wears it, because it has softer layers underneath? At least that's what I saw various armour nerds say.

My brain stopped watching 1967's Point Blank earlier at the moment Lloyd Bochner appeared - he's a charming, good looking sort who out-suaves John Vernon (not easy to do). My brain couldn't figure out who he resembled in that scene. Hours later, the answer, an unsmiling 1960s Dick Van Dyke.

Differences of opinion are for matters of taste like whether you like singers who sound like they're gargling aquarium gravel to rock music. Differences of opinion should never have extended to basic Human Rights - we tried to pin that down with the UN Declaration but people are aSkInG qUeStIoNs..

Anyway, this place seems to have strayed far from the sight of God. Time for me to watch The Mothman Prophecies again, as it's been far too long away from the majesty that is the tale of Indrid Cold.

It is to cisgender people to actually do something about the media rhetoric and governmental steps taken against us, as we are ironically too few to make a difference and, in a move that would've impressed Kafka, we're dismissed as biased when we try to have our say.

Surgery or not, GRC or not, we transgender people are marked as dangerous, yet-to-be-caught safeguarding risks to everybody, including anyone who may wish to sleep with us. There is no mode we can adopt, no accommodation we can make, no proof we can offer that can assuage the hatred directed our way

Luckily, the spider jump-scare in the video that just popped up for me came at a time when I wasn’t holding my phone; it was resting on the bed. Otherwise, an encore performance of the spider jump-scare video of 2023, when I jumped so hard that I yeeted my phone across the room, would have occurred.

Given Brexit, and the attacks on transgender rights in the UK, I am gripped by a grim apprehension regarding whatever inane, evidence-free, niche hobby-horse of a vocal minority is to become the policy of whatever government of the day is when they have finally finished with us transgender people.
