My husband said if someone thinks they turned out fine after being beaten and continues the cycle they clearly didn’t turn out fine. I thought that was a great way of putting it.

Yep. My family lives on my husband’s disability payments and we have had zero increase in monthly income but everything has gone up over 200% in price. That’s not inflation. It’s greed.

I’m in the lowest of income brackets so I watch prices of everything. The price of No Nane spaghetti went from 97¢ to $2.39 in the last few years. That IS NOT the result of inflation.

I knew it was all prices inflated by greed. A record 8% inflation rate does NOT result in a 200+% increase in the price of everything. Profits over people is the corporate way. I have a degree in Economics and the math ain’t mathing.

Me: ow. I bit my tongue again. I keep doing that this week.
Husband: It’s my opinion stuff like that is evidence we’re in a simulation. How do you suddenly start biting your own tongue or repeatedly stub your toe? You need a patch. Your software needs updating.
Me: 😂 You’re drunk.
H: And very high.

It’s incredible frustrating to have to come up with a “It’s X meets Y!” when you can’t think of 2 separate movies similar to what you are writing.

I think I pretty much only try to watch several CBS shows as soon as they’re available. Most are dropped on my Amazon channel subscriptions.

Condolences to you both. My FIL caught it last year, “fully recovered”, then died of a massive double heart attack and stroke a few weeks later.

Exactly. In Canada we’ve had an all-time high inflation rate of 8% but somehow my spaghetti went up 246% in price.

I used to be a professional baker but I’m diabetic and a SAHM now. So I mostly bake for others. Like a cake I made for my Auntie’s 80th last month. 😁

Ouch. I think hiring older writers is important. If nothing else it would improve anachronisms I keep seeing in tv/movies. Teenagers didn’t call each other “bitches” in the 90s unless they were ready to fight. 🤣

We have to shovel our sidewalks but my back alley driveway is only slightly longer than the car. lol. The landlord does snowblow my parking spot. We got a few feet of snow a couple weeks ago. That was a LOT of snow to shovel.

The cream of tartar helps with this I do believe. My husband loves my snickerdoodles and he loves saying “snickerdoodles”. 😂
