Kinda seems weird to be out shouting "Hey I've got a free book you can read!" while the gestapo is literally shooting people in the face and violating the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, probably 7th, and 8th amendments...

I hope that when it's read, the care and handling of the subject matter is considered compassionate and accurate.

It often is poorly used in fiction. Luckily for me, I'm well trained in working with Children and Adults with PTSD and know what I'm writing about. No spoilers, but yes, my character has it.

My project will attract readers of The Sixth World Series by Rebecca Roanhorse, The Magicium series by T.N. Baldwin, and The Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko (and yes, I have evil Druids, so somebody is going to mention the Iron Druid and Harry Dresden series).

Readers looking for characters who simply are LGBTQIA +, physically challenged, or otherwise not part of the able-bodied, white, heteronormative masses will enjoy the diversity of the characters.

War Dog will appeal to readers who love the rich complexity of world mythologies, fast-paced plots, and subverted tropes.

Instead, he gets sucked into a war between two factions bent on bringing back the old Gods and the magic they make possible. If either side prevails, it will mean the end of the world.

Drustan Seta spent his life fighting cryptids out of myths and legends. What that got him was PTSD, huge gaps in his memory, and an addiction to pain pills. When his only friend Frank goes missing, he believes that finding him might pull him out of his downward spiral.
