03.02.2026 00:13 โ ๐ 39 ๐ 14 ๐ฌ 5 ๐ 3Every word in this *thing* weighs about a ton, figuratively speaking.
01.02.2026 01:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I have to write *a thing*. It is only 61 words long.
I do not want to write it. I am not a writer. It is terrifying, and I am wholly unqualified/undeserving, but it my responsibility and obligation.
61 words might as well be 61,000.
I'll tell you about it...um, some day.
It's true, all of it. Best part of getting to work on the stories, is how awesome they all are as people.

Sometimes you get a spark of inspiration for a new project at *the most* inopportune time.
Only one thing to do when that happens.
Write it up, and try to make it happen.
An under-discussed theme that runs through all #StarWars is regret. How many characters are burdened and shackled by it and those that are able to break those shackles and push forward despite regrets, vs those who are dragged down and broken by them
I'm constantly fascinated by character regrets
The Mendel-aissance
24.01.2026 19:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This scene has to advance 2 characters (and bring 1 full circle), remind the audience of a dozen diff turning points from nearly 20 episodes, whilst recontextualizing half of them
And it *also* still needs to be intense, terrifying, entertaining, and exhilarating.
Incredible
Because it carries all the weight of any of those, while also weaving intricate story tethers that span two seasons, back to episode 1. It's both a tool + a moment.
To do all of that and not collapse under the expository weight is truly impressive. And of course the performances are at an 11.
The more I watch it, the more I think *THIS* scene is the most impressive achievement in all of #Andor.
More than Luthen/Mon's speeches.
More than "One Way Out".
More than "F**** the Empire"
More than Ghorman.
Why...

And when Vader walks by he yells out GOOD DAY, ANAKIN! really loud.
An official announcement of the audiobook narrators for Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon "Read by original cast members from Star Wars Outlaws, Jay Rincon and Eric Johnson"
Official announcement! The audiobook for Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon is read by original cast members Eric Johnson (Jaylen) and Jay Rincon (ND-5) w/ full production. I promise, it feels like a game cutscene, it's so good.

So this picture is blowing my mind.

08.01.2026 01:35 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0How edits to a #StarWars novel *sometimes* happen:
*Checks reference book.
*Leads to ref book 2.
*Leads to photo caption of ref book 3.
*Caption leads to mid-1990s "Adventure Journal"
*Which leads to mid-2000s issue of SW Insider...
Which leads to an editorial suggestion to solve plot issue.
After this story, we all knew it was just a matter of time before Madeleine joined us for a full novel. Honestly, it would have been malpractice *not* to do that. Took a while - so glad we got here.
There was no one else to write this Rey/Leia story but Madeleine.
With #StarWars #Legacy coming this summer, just want to remind you what happened the last time the utterly brilliant Madeleine Roux wrote a #StarWars story.

06.01.2026 19:54 โ ๐ 17 ๐ 13 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Right now you could manually mark each plot related comment with like "plot1" at the end of each, and us "find" but its clunky, inelegant, and doesn't quite let you view the full scope of those comments together.
I realize this is asking for the "Airtable-ification" of Word, but...well here we are
They really need to add a native function to MS Word that lets you add tags to comments then filter or organize.
IE: mark comments related to the plot with a "plot" tag, and then later only view comments with that tag. This would make comments more useful as well as distilling them better.
