Lord of peace and love, we praise You. Jesus, forgive us when we ignore Your will to love others, argue, or are quick to judge. Help us see the good in others, all made in Your image. Guide us to do Your will and show Your love. In Jesus Christ's name.

This is Not the Poem I Had Hoped to Write   This is not the poem I had hoped to write when I sat at my desk and the page was white. You see, there were other words I’d had in mind, yet this is what I leave behind.   I thought it was a poem to eradicate war; one of such power, it would heal all the sores of a world torn apart by conflict and schism. But it isn’t.   Lovers, I’d imagined, would quote from it daily, Mothers would sing it to soothe crying babies. And whole generations would be given new hope. Nope.   I had grand aspirations. Believe me, I tried. Humanity examined with lessons applied. But the right words escaped me; so often they do. Have these in lieu. Brian Bilston

Almighty, loving God, we adore You above all. Your love for us is beyond measure. We pray for world leaders; only You can inspire thoughts of peace, not war. Many live in fear, homeless, and hungry. We pray for a world of peace and harmony. In Jesus Christ's name.

a small, wrinkly basset hound puppy with droopy eyes sits on a collection of fuzzy blankets. his brown ears are each the length of his body, one hanging on the right side of his head, the other delicately in his mouth as he chews on the corner of it. this is a game changer.

This is Fred. He just found out he can chew his own ear. There aren't actually any rules against it, he checked. 12/10

An alleyway in Vancouver, Canada at night, it shows power poles with wires and other paraphernalia attached to them... fuses... whatever. The sky is vovered in white clouds though, and the moon is shining through the blue of ice crystals.

Alleys at night time are great #photography imo. Tho, this was barely night thanks to DST. I think it was about 6pm Fri 😆. Way to remove the #creepy. lol! I'm informed by someone here that the blue around the clear moon is ice crystals–literally, how cool is that?
