I noticed that our neighbour hadn't taken in her milk for 2/3 days. Curtains open, no answer at door. So, called 101. Police arrived, and got Fire/Rescue to "gain entry". Once in they found info that she was on holiday in the Shetlands and forgotten to cancel the milk.

Kind of liked it, though there was a Mission: Impossible feel to it. I was confused why the Empire just picks some human kids to fight it out to be the Emperor. Wouldn't the person picking the kids just drop them all in a well and say "Oh well, it's me then? All hail me."
