"Shutdown hoax"

There's so much wrong with this, and this is far from the top of the list, but the shutdown wasn't a "hoax." It actually happened!

This does put the House back in session so Rep Grijalva finally gets sworn in. But what else did they get?

What did they walk away with? I don't see the ACA talks going anywhere. The courts were about to resume emergency SNAP funds. Yes, the shutdown had to end and Dems' options were limited, I just don't see what they got out of this other than opening the government back up.

Senator King makes a good point. Now Republicans have to come to the table and have a discussion about the ACA subsidies. And that discussion will be "Fuck you, we're not doing it."
